CORETEX5 ekoparty edition

The new edition of the Coretex competition will take place during the ekoparty security conference (Oct 2st - Oct 3st).

Coretex ekoparty is a programming competition of a special kind: participants are not required to build a program, but rather to deconstruct the programs proposed by the organizers. Eight programs written in the C language will be proposed, and the objective of the participants is to "exploit" them.

To "exploit" a program means to craft an input that will make the program print "exploited!" in stout. To achieve this result may require to solve an algorithmic problem, or to make use of a vulnerability found in the program. Participants will sum one point for each unique combination of programs that they exploit, so juggling with the inputs in order to exploit several programs simultaneously will be part of the challenge!
